Kathmandu, popularly known as City of Temples, is named after a Pagoda located in Durbar called Kaasthamandapa "covered shelter. also popularly known as Kantipur, is the capital city of Federal Republic of Nepal. The city is part of a big valley surrounded by small mountains and hills. Kathmandu along with her sister cities Patan (Lalitpur) and Bhaktapur is rich in ancient architecture, arts, cultures and tradition. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

 

Day02: Kathmandu
Morning after breakfast process for half day city tour covering Kathmandu city and
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. The temple served as the seat of the national deity, Lord Pashupatinath. The temple is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. & Buddhanath stupa located on the eastern side of Kathmandu close to Pashupatinath is the largest Buddhist Stupa in the world. Boudhnath is the religious centre for Nepal's considerable population of Tibetans and here are a number of thriving monasteries.   Evening free to explore market. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.

Day03: Kathmandu - Pokhara (200 kms/8hrs)
Morning after breakfast check out from hotel & drive to Pokhara.
Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Three out of the ten highest mountains in the world Dhaulagiri, Annapurna & Manaslu or Lamjunghimal  are situated within 30 miles (linear distance) of the city, so that the northern skyline of the city offers a very close view of the Himalayas.  Due to its proximity to the Annapurna mountain range, the city is also a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna circuit.
On arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening at leisure and free to explore market. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

 

Day 04: Pokhara
Morning after breakfast half day city tour covering Bindebheshni Temple- Bindabasini temple or Bindhyabasini Mandir is of great religious importance to Hindus living in the Pokhara region. It is a vital hub of religious fervor. The temple itself is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga, who is Pokhara's chosen guardian deity. Gupteswar Gupha is a natural site located just outside the Pokhara Airport, It is very significant and sacred Hindu site as Lord Shiva’s shrine was discovered in the cave. Devi's Falls marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. When the stream is at full bore, the sound of the water plunging over the falls is deafening the name is a corruption of David's Falls, a reference to a Swiss visitor who tumbled into the sinkhole and drowned, taking his girlfriend with him

Day 05: Pokhara - Chitwan (165kms/5hrs approx)
Morning after breakfast drive the beautifull journey to Chitwan.
Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. Formerly called Royal Chitwan National Park it was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 932 km2 (360 sq mi) and is located in the subtropical Inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal in theChitwan District. In altitude it ranges from about 100 m (330 ft) in the river valleys to 815 m (2,674 ft) in the Churia Hills. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. One can enjoy boating. Day 06: Chitwan
Morning after breakfast process for Elephant Safari, Bird Watching and other jungle activities. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Chitwan.


Day 07: Chitwan - Kathmandu Departure (175kms/6hrs approx)
Morning after breakfast drive Kathmandu on arrival transfer to Kathmandu airport for onwards journey.
