Day 01: Arrival / Cochin

Day 02: Cochin / Delhi (AI 466 – 0725 / 1025 Hrs)

Morning transfer to the airport to board your flight to Delhi

Meeting and assistance upon arrival in Delhi and transfer to our hotel

After wash and change, we proceed for sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi:

OLD DELHI – Visit Old Delhi- the former center of Mughal power which offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling markets. Visit the Red Fort built in 1648 by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan famous for his great edifice of love the Taj Mahal. Also see the biggest mosque in India the Jama Masjid, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1658. Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. The heart of Old Delhi lies in the area around Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest market areas in India and certainly one of the busiest. Drive through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk to get a feel of the royal life of the Mughal emperors.

To explore this area fully would take days, but a great way to get around and experience the vibrant atmosphere and array of sounds and sights on display is by traditional cycle-rickshaw.

NEW DELHI - An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.

Day 03: Delhi / Agra (205 Kms) (03 Hrs Drive)

Following a leisurely breakfast, we will drive to Agra, along one of the India’s finest freeways

Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel.

After wash and change, will visit the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566.

At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

At sunset, we will visit Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant _expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Sunsets stain the Taj an exotic shade of orange. But nothing beats the poignant beauty of the Taj seen when the cool white marble is bathed in the soft silver light of the moon. Even in the bright light of the day, this wonder of the world shines with an awe-inspiring loveliness.

Day 04: Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur (245 Kms) (05 Hrs Drive)

Morning, we will visit Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant _expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. The Taj is at its most alluring in the relative quiet of early morning, shrouded in mists and bathed with a soft red glow. As its vast marble surfaces fall into shadow or reflect the sun, its colour changes, from soft grey and yellow to pearly cream and dazzling white; it's well worth visiting at different times. This play of light is an important decorative device, symbolically implying the presence of Allah, who is never represented in anthropomorphic form.

Following breakfast, we will drive to Jaipur, en route, we will visit Fatehpur Sikri-perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" which was the estranged capital of Mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed.

From here, we will continue our drive to Jaipur

Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into your hotel.

Rest of the day is at leisure to achieve your shopping needs. A wide range of handicrafts are available in the market, most of items are produced in the centers in and around the city. The city is one of the most important centers in the world for cutting and polishing precious and semi precious stone, diamonds.

The local 'Kundan', style jewellery find a market throughout the world. The exotic blue pottery, the batik painting, block printed textiles of Sanganer and Bagru, tie & dye fabrics, Mojari- (the local shoe), sandal wood carving items, beautiful stone carvings etc. The main markets are along Johari Bazar, Bapu Bazar, Nehru Bazar, Chaura Rasta, Tripolia Bazar and M.I. Road. Shops specializing in precious and semi-precious stones, ornaments and jewellery are to be found on and along Johari Bazaar.

Day 05: Jaipur

Morning, we will visit Amber Fort; we will enjoy flawless beauty of the Fort royally with an elephant ride.

AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression.

CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.

HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

Evening we will visit Chokhi Dhani. Spread over 10 acres of beautifully landscaped area for a rustic look, it is dotted with machaans & platforms where different folk artists perform concurrently. A village fair is created every evening as an ongoing celebration of the rich & vibrant cultural heritage of Rajasthan.

The display of traditional huts and workmanship will take you back to the times when splendor was unpretentious. Experience the rich warmth and rustic charm of a typical Rajasthani Village at Chokhi Dhani- the festivities never end here!!!

Day 06: Jaipur / Delhi (270 Kms) (05 Hrs Drive)

Following a leisurely breakfast, we will drive to Delhi, along one of the India’s finest freeways

Day 07: Delhi / Mumbai (G8 332 – 1215 / 1420 Hrs) Mumbai / Departure

Morning, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Goa. Arrive Goa and transfer to the dock to board your ship.
